Decoupled Microservices Architecture

Kanto’s backend services are organized into independent, loosely coupled microservices, each responsible for a specific core function:

• Streaming Service – Handles video/audio delivery, optimized for latency and multi-device compatibility.
• Kanto Score Service – Processes user recordings, compares them to reference tracks, and generates real-time scoring. Top-sung songs are identified via Mixpanel analytics and prioritized for scoring enablement.
• Indexing Service – Manages catalog updates in ElasticSearch to ensure fast, accurate search results.
• Metadata Service – Stores and serves enriched song information (genre, language, mood, etc.) to power content discovery and recommendations.
